New license regulations allow users to activate a second installation of World Time 2006 with the same serial number. This will also apply to multi-license purchases. “If for instance you purchase a 3 user license you can run the program perpetually on up to 6 computers”. Each license pair needs to stay within the same household or in the case of a business can be installed on two computers used by the same person.
But businesses are also looking at substantial savings with the new simplified discount structure. Customers now get a whopping 50% off for 10 and more licenses making World Time Manager even more affordable for businesses of all sizes. This effectively slashes the price to a quarter of the cost for a single installation.
World Time receives 5 cow rating
Shortly after publishing at the popular shareware site Tucows, World Time 2006 has received a five cow rating by the Judges. This is the highest rating at Tucows and can only be achieved by software that passes a number of criteria. Are you ready for daylight saving?
Not every computer is ready for the new daylight saving rules that have been introduced in the US and other countries. However once you have World Time 2006 installed it will take care of everything, and you can rest assured daylight saving changes anywhere in the world will not take you by surprise.

If you want to make sure, the program “knows” the correct daylight saving times, open up the Control Center (e.g. double click on a clock) click on Tools>Options>Report tab, and put a tick in “Start and End Date” under “Daylight Saving”. Then close the Options window and click on any US town and check out the report window at the bottom of the Control Center, below the map. There you should see the new daylight saving times.
