Welcome and Overview

With the release of version 2, World Time Manager has become much more than just a program to display various times and time zones around the earth.

With World Time Manager you can:

  • Instantly find local time, locations, and much more on the world map with not even a mouse click, or pick a location from the comprehensive database.
  • Place an unlimited amount of clocks on your desktop, they will stay there and quietly tick away. If you move them to the edge of the screen they will even hide away until you need them again.
  • Set an alarm time for each clock either in your local time, the clock’s local time, or GMT/UTC.
  • Use the re-sizable interactive map to quickly check out the earth’s time zones and create world time clocks with a click of a button.
  • View sunrise and sunset times at any time in history.
  • See the world’s day and night time areas at any time in history or in real time.
  • Travel through time. This is useful for instance if you want to find out when it is best to ring someone in another part of the world.Say you live in the US and want to ring someone in Australia when it is 9:15 in the morning. You would just “travel” into the future until the time on the Australian clock shows 9:15 A.M. and check the time on your local clock. This feature is even more useful if you have to arrange a conference call across several time zones.
  • Change the look of your clocks with the Clock Designer.
  • Have your clocks appear in different colors depending if it is day time or night time.
  • Update time zone and map data in seconds (Active Internet connection required) to reflect recent changes to local time legislation.
