Confirm your time zone
This window appears the first time you run World Time 2006. It can manually be opened from the Local Time tab on the Options window.
To change your own time zone, first pick a country from the list on the left. The system limits the list to the most likely time zones based on your current settings.
Once you made your selection a second list will appear with locations. You are not required to, but it is recommended that you pick one of the locations that is closest to you. If you do not pick a location, make sure the displayed locations are actually in your own time zone.
If your area is not in the lists you can tick the box “Show full list” at any time to see all available countries and locations.
Once you are finished, click Ok to apply and exit this window.
If you have made any changes, your computer’s time zone will be updated. If you have selected a time zone other than the ones supplied with your operating system, it will be added to the list of available time zones, which you can also access through the “Date and Time Properties” in the Windows Control Panel
