How to Create a Desktop Clock

Desktop clocks show the time and date of a particular location around the world. Once you have created a desktop clock you can change it’s name, size and appearance but, you can not change it’s association with it’s time zone.

There are several methods to create a new desktop clock.

Method 1:

  • Select a desired world clock by picking a location from the list or by clicking on the map (see also World Map Things you can do and Quick Start).
  • Simply drag the World clock on the Control Center onto the desktop.- or -Right click on the World clock on the Control Center and click on “Add this clock to the desktop- or -

    Click on the icon “Create a new clock” on the tool strip

    - or -

    Select the “Create New Clock” Command from the Clock menu

Method 2:

  • Right click anywhere on the map and click on “Create new clock”

Method 3:

  • Click on the Clock menu, select “Create from Favorites” and click on a clock’s name
