World Map, things you can do
When you move your mouse over the world map you can see the different time zones of the world and one location that is closest to the mouse’s pointer. At the same time the clock instantly updates to the current time zone in that location.
You can also observe the Location Report being updated in real time.
Sometimes you may want to lock in a location. There are two ways to accomplish that. You can either click on the map or you can select a location from the List of Countries and Locations.
Once the location is locked in you can drag the clock to the desktop to create a new desktop clock. Desktop clocks remain on the desktop even when the Control Center is closed.
To unlock the map again just click anywhere on the map.
You can also move the map sideways. To do that you can either click the green arrows to the left and right of the map or hold the mouse button down for a short while and then drag the map sideways.
The new position is remembered until you click on the Center Map icon on the Tool Strip or select “Center Map” from the Map menu.
