Commands
When you right click on any desktop clock you are presented with a context menu. This is an overview of what each command does:
- Alarm …(command name varies) lets you set or change an alarm for this clock
- Control Center / Add Clocks open up the Control Center see also “How to open the Control Center”
- Time Machine will open the Time Machine window which allows to “travel through time”.
- Options will open the Options window where you have comprehensive control about the way the program behaves
- Clock Designer opens up the Clock Designer which will allow you to choose or design a different clock style for your desktop clocks
- Copy Style will copy the clock style into the clipboard for pasting onto another clock
- Paste Style will paste (apply) a style from the clipboard to the clock
- Duplicate Clock will create an independent copy of the current clock on the desktop.
- Minimize Clocks will minimize all clocks to the task bar or the notification area depending on the settings in Options
- Settings for This Clock will open up the “Individual clock settings”
- Quick Rename will open up a field to rename the current clock. This will not have any effect on the clocks time zone. You can also rename the clock by clicking on “Settings for This Clock”
- Always on Top turns this setting on or off. When “Always on Top” is on, the desktop clocks will always stay on top of every other window on the desktop.
- Auto Hide Clocks turns this setting on or off. When “Auto Hide” is on the clocks will automatically hide when the are at any edge of the screen.
- Add to Favorites will save this clock in the Favorites list (not always visible)
- Remove from Favorites will remove this clock from the Favorites list (not always visible)
- Help will open up a Help/About sub menu similar to the Help menu in the Control Center. For details click here
- End Program will close World Time 2006. Your desktop clocks and the layout will be retained and will appear the next time you start the program.
