Clock Alarm Settings

You can use each desktop clock as an alarm clock.

To set or change an alarm, right click on a clock and click on the “Alarm” command. The wording of this command varies depending if an alarm is already set. For an overview on how to set an alarm click here

If an alarm is set, a little bell icon will be attached to the clock. This icon can be moved relative to the clock simply by dragging it to your preferred location. When you move your mouse cursor onto the icon, you will see an indication of how much time is left until the alarm goes off. You can also check the remaining alarm time by right clicking on the clock.

When the alarm goes off, by default the clock will blink and you will hear a sound. You can then dismiss the alarm, read the alarm message (if any), or postpone the alarm (sleep). To do that just click or right click on the blinking clock and choose the appropriate action.

When you click on the alarm a message window will pop up giving you the following options:

  • Modify lets you change or set a new alarm time
  • Sleep will postpone the alarm by a preset amount of time (see Options)
  • Dismiss will dismiss the alarm. Depending on the settings in the Alarm Settings the alarm will go off again after the interval time or will be off until set again.

When you right click on the alarm a menu will come up giving you the following options:

  • Show Message shows you the message that pops up when you click on the blinking clock (see above)
  • Dismiss Alarm will dismiss the alarm. Depending on the settings in the Alarm Settings the alarm will go off again after the interval time or will be off until set again.
  • Sleep will postpone the alarm by a preset amount of time (see Options)
  • Change Alarm for This Clock lets you change or set a new alarm time
