Desktop Clocks
For information on how to create desktop clocks click here.
Desktop Clocks, once created, stay on the desktop and can be moved around and snap to each other or the screen’s edge. Depending on the settings in the Options window they behave differently when moved around.
To move a clock to a new location, drag it to its new location. Clocks that touch the edge of the screen, will automatically hide after a set period of time. To un-hide clocks you can just move your mouse curser onto the edge of the screen over the portion of the clock that is still visible. The clocks will also un-hide when the mouse moves onto the notification icon
. However this functionality can be disabled in Options.
When you move desktop clocks they normally move individually, and snap to each other to make alignment easier. However if you hold down the Shift key while you move one of the clocks, all other clocks that touch this clock will also move. This way you can easily move aligned clocks to a new location. If the default settings in Options is set to “Move clocks as cluster by default” you can move them individually by holding down the Ctrl key while moving the clock.
The Alt key disables both, cluster move and snap-on behavior.
When you move your mouse pointer onto a clock, a little resize handle will briefly, allowing you to change the size of a clock. You cannot change the shape of a clock this way. To change the shape of a clock, use the Clock Designer. You can also right click on the resize handle for a shortcut to Numeric Resize and to quickly apply the new size to all other clocks.
